Whether you are looking for a fun date night or want to make family memories this fall, there are plenty of events taking place in Columbia County. Throw on your sweater and get ready to check these out!
Light the Night, Friday, October 4
This event is being held at the Evans Towne Center Park from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Light the Night is the world’s largest fundraising event to support cancer research. It is free to attend, but fundraising is encouraged to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Participants receive lighted lanterns to carry and there will also be food trucks and a kids zone, making this an event for the whole family to enjoy.
Saturday Cinema, Saturday, October 5
The Evans Towne Center Park is hosting a free movie night starting at 6:00pm. The movie begins at dark and “Incredibles 2” will be showing. Grab a cozy blanket to sit on and enjoy this fun family night under cooler weather.
Steed’s Dairy, September 28-November 10
Nestled off of Wrightsboro Road in Grovetown, Steed’s Dairy has been a longtime favorite fall event. General admission runs from $8-11 with free admission for children age 2 and under. You can enjoy a corn maize, cow milking demonstrations, hayrides, a petting zoo, a pumpkin patch and more.
Hispanic Festival, October 18-20
Enjoy food, art, music and more at the 27th annual Hispanic Festival. There will be live music with a headliner show on Saturday night. The Hispanic Festival will take place at Evans Towne Center Park.
Trick or Treat So Others Can Eat, October 31
Looking for Halloween plans? Evans Towne Center Park is hosting a free night of trick-or-treating and carnival rides from 5:00pm-8:00pm.
