Whether you are looking for a fun date night or want to make family memories this fall, there are plenty of events taking place in Richmond County. Westobou Festival, October 2-6
This constantly evolving arts festival is a highlight of the fall season in downtown Augusta. Over the course of five days, downtown Augusta is transformed into a creative playground of sorts for friends and family from all over to connect creatively. Some events are free to attend, while others require a ticket. A full schedule of the fun can be found here.
Pints for a Purpose, October 4
If you’re over 21 and looking for something to do this fall that is both fun and beneficial, stop by the Riverwatch Brewery on October 4 from 5:00pm-9:00pm. The Central Savannah River Land Trust is hosting this fun night to taste local pints where 10% of each tab benefits the preservation of local forests, farms and rivers in the CSRA.
Fall Pumpkin Run Car Show, October 12
The CSRA Road Angels Car Club is hosting this show outside of the Augusta Mall on October 12 from 10:00am-3:00pm. Admission is free for spectators, but there is a registration fee for participants. There will be prizes and all proceeds will benefit local charities.
ZZ Top, October 15
Having been together as a rock band for 50 years, ZZ Top is on the road again and will be visiting the James Brown Arena in Augusta on October 15. Experience a night of nostalgia with one of the country’s most-loved classic rock groups. Tickets are still available but are selling quickly!
Georgia Carolina State Fair, October 18-27
The biggest fair in Augusta is the perfect way to celebrate the fall season. There will be an abundance of rides and food vendors as well as entertainment each night. Admission starts at $7, but specials will be available on certain nights as well for rides.
