Holidice Ice Skating Rink, ongoing through January 5
A short trip to Citizens Park in Aiken will transport you to a winter wonderland. This synthetic ice rink brings back childhood memories and creates a new experience for little ones. Jaycees Christmas Parade, December 1
Visit downtown Aiken at Laurens Street on December 1 beginning at 2:00pm for the annual Jaycees Parade. You may want to plan on arriving early to grab a good spot and enjoy the day.
Downtown Aiken Tree Lighting, December 6
Head over to Newberry Street in downtown Aiken at 6:00pm for the annual tree lighting. This is the perfect start to the Christmas season for the whole family to enjoy. Music and refreshments will be available as well as a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Christmas in Hopelands, December 14-26
Hopelands Gardens is a beautiful place to visit year-round, but there is extra magic there during the Christmas season. Sip on hot cocoa or apple cider while strolling through illuminated walkways and taking in the spirit of the season. There will be light displays throughout along with decorated buildings that showcase Aiken’s history. This is an experience that you don’t want to miss!
