New Businesses Coming to the CSRA
The Central Savannah River Area is steadily growing with no plans to slow down soon. The next year will bring exponential growth to our community with various new businesses opening. Here are a few spotlight businesses that are coming to the area for both job opportunities and enjoyment.
One great job opportunity coming to the area is a new Amazon Fulfillment Center in Appling, Georgia. The building will be off of I-20’s exit 183. Work is expected to start towards the end of this spring and construction should be finished by the end of 2022.
John Deere in Grovetown is expected to expand over the next year, providing more job opportunities and relocation to the area.
TopGolf has been a long-awaited business to arrive to Augusta. It will be located off of Riverwatch Parkway in the Costco shopping center. The fun golf experience is projected to open just in time for Masters week!
The Village at Riverwatch is also bringing a new build-your-own macaroni and cheese restaurant by this summer. Similar to a Subway or Your Pie, you have the option to customize every piece of your mac-n-cheese bowl with various choices of noodles, cheeses and toppings.
Adding to the flair of downtown North Augusta, Sheila’s Baking Company will be opening on Georgia Avenue sometime this summer. Sheila is a small-town baker and her shop will offer delicious pastries, cakes and more. This is a great way to support a local small business!
Aiken’s southside will be welcoming a new Wild Wing Cafe by summertime. The dual-bar restaurant will have a stage for live shows and over 20 TVs for sporting events. Wild Wing is taking over the former Travinia Italian Kitchen building.
There are new business announcements popping up frequently, so be sure to stay tuned for more growth coming to our area!
