The crisp chill in the air and changing leaves mean fall is upon us. It is the perfect time to enjoy the outdoors and prep for the holidays. If you are looking for something fun to do with little ones this fall, here are a few events to check out: 


Augusta Handmade Fair, November 5-6

Head downtown with the family on November 5 from 5:00-9:00 pm and/or November 6 from 12:00-4:00 pm. There will be more than 40 local vendors showcasing art, soaps, jewelry, pottery, decor and more. You can use the time with kids as a lesson in supporting the local economy and let them be a part of holiday shopping for their loved ones. The event will take place both indoors and outdoors at the Doris Building on Broad Street in downtown Augusta. You can find more information and a list of vendors here


Junior League of Augusta Holiday Market, November 12-14

The Columbia County Exhibition Center in Grovetown will host their 10th annual Holiday Market the weekend of November 12. Passes can be purchased for $10 for a single day, or $15 gets you admission for the whole weekend. There are various vendors for holiday shopping and you can purchase photos with Santa! It’s the perfect opportunity to avoid busy mall crowds. Ticket sales benefit the Junior League of Augusta, which is a Georgia mission to support the community by improving the lives of women and children. Tickets can be purchased here


KidJam, November 13

CSRA Kids is back with the ever-popular KidJam, an all day event from 10:00 am-4:00 pm at the Riverview Park Activities Center in North Augusta. There are 5 gyms packed with exhibitors and vendors to keep kids of all ages entertained. Tickets are $5 and a portion of sales helps the YMCA of Greater Augusta! Columbia County Fall Fair, November 4-14

The annual Columbia County Fall Fair will take place this year from November 4-14 at the fairgrounds in Grovetown. There are new rides, exhibits, and everyone’s favorite classic fair food.
