CSRA Outdoor Markets
Outdoor markets are a popular spring and summer activity, especially in the CSRA where the weather is enjoyable during these seasons. Local farmers and vendors gather together to sell their fresh and handmade products. Take a morning to explore the area with the family, support small businesses, and even save money on groceries by purchasing locally grown products. Here are a few markets in the area to check out this season:
Located in downtown Augusta at the 8th Street Plaza, the Augusta Market is a classic and popular place to be on Saturday mornings during warm weather months. Visit from 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables from local farmers, food trucks to try, handmade artists with merchandise and more. There is even a splash pad nearby to cool off with the kids after shopping.
Find fresh produce, baked goods, meat, handmade crafts and more at the Aiken County Farmers Market. You can visit Tuesdays and Saturdays each week from 7:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Find the historic wooden structure with some of Aiken’s best goods at 115 Williamsburg Street. This one is open year-round!
The Veggie Park Farmers Market
