Influencers and bloggers are fun to follow on social media. They share their favorite items that you can purchase, delicious foods to try in their area, vacation spots and more. Sometimes, it seems like a distant dream to follow those who have made social media their career. However, the Augusta area features its fair share of influencers that you can look into. They share some of the best local restaurants, shops and more. Now more than ever, it is important to support small businesses. Following these people will do just that!

Scott Russell, 6bitesin

Best known for his action-packed photos of food, Scott Russell has risen in popularity over the past year by posting his love for local businesses and bringing more customers to their establishments. It all started as a joke when he took a picture of his food after already taking a few bites. However, it turned into a niche and he has a true talent for highlighting the best local eats. If you’re looking to support local restaurants and want to try new dishes, give Scott a follow.

Chris Nabholz and David Bash, DropTheDis Podcast

This duo launched a podcast in 2020 all about the beauty of Augusta. They highlight the positive work happening in the area and feature the people who help make it happen. Check them out and subscribe to stay caught up on the latest Augusta area news and special features that make this city unique!

Brandy Mitchell, CSRA Kids

CSRA Kids began in 2017 as a way to help parents find everything kid and family-related in the area. Brandy was new to the CSRA and had a difficult time finding things to do with her daughter, so she launched this website to help other parents and be sure they didn’t have to go through the same thing. CSRA Kids has all sorts of resources from camps to send your children to, community events, places for the family to enjoy and more.
